The Reality of palestinian 'protests''Hamas broadened its monthlong campaign to break down the Israel border, staging border "protests" attended by thousands -- including terrorists who have used the supposed protests as a staging point for violent attacks on Israeli troops and territory. Palestinian terrorists have caused mass chaos, throwing Molotov cocktails at troops, attempting to rush the border, flinging explosives and tying incendiaries to kites in an attempt to set Israeli territory alight. The Israeli Defense Forces have responded with restraint. Despite this, a few dozen Palestinians have been killed, not the hundreds or thousands Hamas would presumably prefer.
But even as Yahya Sinwar, leader of Hamas in Gaza, suggested that "more than 100,000 people could storm the fence" between Israel and Gaza, and as 23-year-old Mohammed Mansoura announced, "We are excited to storm and get inside ... to kill, throw stones," the media covered the slow-rolling terror assault as a form of peaceful protest. A New York Times he
There's No Such Thing As 'Too Soon'The conventional wisdom regarding public tragedies has traditionally been that it is immoral, insensitive, or otherwise socially unacceptable to express anything in the immediate hours or days following, outside of milquetoast condolences, meaningless "thoughts and prayers," or perhaps impotent fist-shaking at the perpetrator (if an individual or small group). More substantive critiques or commentaries, especially those that get at root causes, are frowned upon as being "too soon." This is to speak nothing of any sentiments which could even remotely be construed as "blaming the victim," something which is generally accused far more often than committed, and in which more stock is put than is rational. This is not to say that victim-blaming is good per se, however the notion that nobody's actions have ever contributed to their own death is absurd, and should this be true of any given event, it is therefore relevant information worthy of discussion.
Just for the hell of it.Last one for a while, I promise!
You know that dossier they had on Trump?
And oh yeah, that 'Russian collusion' at the Trump Tower?
You know those 'protestors' in Israel?
Strategies to Improve EducationEducation: the ever-present subject of inexhaustible complaint. Its current shortcomings seen as the culprit to virtually every problem, and correspondingly its potential the oft-proposed catch-all solution to every problem. An issue so often discussed, and yet about which so little is actually said. Politicians vow to improve it. The public expresses their continual dissatisfaction for the state of it. But we don't spend nearly as much time talking about what specifically should be done. The closest most politicians get is pledging to throw money at the problem, or vouchers, depending on their affiliation. Ordinary people lambaste the current system, but by and large have little in the way of constructive ideas for improvement beyond the quintessential cry of the discontented for change. The condemnation of the education system may have become a lazy cop-out or cynical virtue-signal in nearly any conversation about politics, culture, pub
Doing Versus Feeling"Effective altruism is a philosophy and social movement that uses evidence and reason to determine the most effective ways to benefit others. Effective altruism encourages individuals to consider all causes and actions and to act in the way that brings about the greatest positive impact, based upon their values. It is the broad, evidence-based approach that distinguishes effective altruism from traditional altruism or charity."

Skeptics more likely to be ECO-friendlyA research team at the University of Michigan conducted a remarkable study that shows climate skeptics are more eco-friendly than greens.
We conducted a one-year longitudinal study in which 600 American adults regularly reported their climate change beliefs, pro-environmental behavior, and other climate-change related measures. Using latent class analyses, we uncovered three clusters of Americans with distinct climate belief trajectories: (1) the “Skeptical,” who believed least in climate change; (2) the “Cautiously Worried,” who had moderate beliefs in climate change; and (3) the “Highly Concerned,” who had the strongest beliefs and concern about climate change. Cluster membership predicted different outcomes: the “Highly Concerned” were most supportive of government climate policies, but least likely to report individual-level act
Black Bigotry I've noticed there's a deeply ingrained sense of cultural militancy among Black intellectuals and layman alike; and it permeates the culture with a staggeringly transparent toxicity. From calling anyone who talks "white" (meaning with good grammar and a minimum amount of slang) as an "oreo"---to "colorism" against Blacks with naturally lighter complexions---to actually physically assaulting Whites for "cultural appropriation", as seen in Missou---to groups like BLM---who adore a confirmed terrorist and cop-killer, Asada Shakur, and chant the communist manifesto, 'We have nothing to loose but our chains."---needless to say, Black racism is not only palpable in Western society, but applauded! Hell, Black racism is downright profitable. Shows like 'Blackish'---which emphasize the preservation of "Black" identity, "ghetto" culture*---and movies like 'Black Panther'---which celebrates the fictitious and fallacious glory of a Black ethno-state*, ruled by a monarchic theocrat---are seen

Open Letter: We Demand That Julian Assange’s Rights Be Restored
With deep pride in the rights we hold so dear, we are calling on those who share our love of liberty to respectfully ask the Ecuadorian government to give Julian Assange back his voice. We are also asking that the United States end the Grand Jury investigation into WikiLeaks and drop any charges against the publisher and all other staff members.
The First Continental Congress wrote that the freedom of press was important not only for the advancement of truth, but so that those who seek to abuse power “are shamed or intimidated into more honourable and just modes of conducting affairs.” They asserted that without this right, “a people cannot be free and happy.”

'Thank God UK is leaving!' Farage BLASTS European Commission for 'stitch-up' job handout
NIGEL Farage ripped into the European Commission over its decision to appoint Jean-Claude Juncker's right-hand man Martin Selmayr as secretary-general, congratulating the Commission for showing its true colours with the “perfect stitch-up”.
He said: “The fast-track appointment of Martin Selmayer to a €20,000 a month job done without any openness, without any transparency.
Count Dankula. How the Mighty Have Fallen...The snugly pile of wrinkles known as Budha the pug has at long last been condemned for what he is: an agent of hate! Puppeteered by his vile, white supremacist master, Count Dankula; who so callously and inhumanely manipulated this poor, unsuspecting animal (look how ugly-adorable he is!) to pick up his head at the phrase, 'Wannuh gas ze Jews?' and to...(it's just so offensive, ladies and gentleman, I can't even bear to say it)---he made the dog do the nazi salute! On camera! In exchange for food!
And it's fucking hilarious!
Here's the news: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/09/12/hate-crime-trial-youtube-user-video-dog-taught-do-nazi-salute/
"A Jewish leader has told a hate crime trial that a YouTube video of a pet dog giving "Nazi salutes" was "grossly offensive".
Ephraim Borowski, director of the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities (SCoJeC), criticised the clip and told how he lost members of his own family to the Nazis."
4 Aprile NO MUOS
Sabato 4 Aprile 2015, dalle 14.30 a Niscemi (CT)
