Science MarchIn Washington and around the world the least likely group of people are taking to streets in protest: Scientists. I saw this on Fox News but this is from the AP
Advocates fan out in global show of support for science
By SETH BORENSTEIN

WASHINGTON (AP) — Scientists, students and research advocates rallied from the Brandenburg Gate to the Washington Monument on Earth Day, conveying a global message of scientific freedom without political interference and spending necessary to make future breakthroughs possible.
"We didn't choose to be in this battle, but it has come to the point where we have to fight because the stakes are too great," said climate scientist Michael Mann, who regularly clashes with politicians.
President Donald Trump, in an Earth Day statement hours after the marches kicked off, said that "rigorous science depends not on ideology, but on a

Eco-nuts push to RELAX environmental protections!German Greens Move To Water Down Nature Protection Laws – To Clear Way For Wind Parks!
By P Gosselin on 18. January 2017
The German online Nordwest Zeitung (NWZ) reports here how mainly German Socialists and Greens (of all people) are moving to relax strict laws designed to protect nature and endangered species.
The aim is to clear the way to industrialize the North German rural countryside and natural areas with wind turbines.
Pushed by Germany’s Greens and Socialists, the country’s nature protection
At the expense of being petty, my responseI'm going to post a reply to a deviant that blocked me during a discussion about the political application of available climate science (at least, I was trying to have a conversation about that. My questions were left unanswered about what his/her agenda is in political groups, but maybe I shouldn't have been asking).
Let me not beat around the bush: posting ONLY science related to non-man-made climate change in a political group (as opposed to a science group. yay, pursuit of learning!) is going to come across as a message sympathetic to Republican actions and policies. If you don't have earth shattering new evidence definitively washing humanity's hands of climate change (which would certainly warrant posting in political spheres, but that isn't the case), than posts about this in a group about politics suggest two things: 1) That you not only want to only innocently influence your readership's scientific literacy, but also their politics and 2) that you generall
4 Aprile NO MUOS
Sabato 4 Aprile 2015, dalle 14.30 a Niscemi (CT)
