Where I stand on race relationsFrom American Thinker http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2017/01/barack_obamas_deplorable_race_relations_legacy.html
Quote: 'In August of 1963, as a college student in Washington D.C., I participated in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom the highlight of which was the “I Have a Dream” speech by Martin Luther King. Thereafter and for a couple of years I became involved in the civil rights movement working to assure freedom and voting rights in several southern states.
During this period of time I noticed that the vast majority of the white volunteers (and some northern African-Americans) fell into three categories insofar as their motivation to participate in the movement. The first, and most active, were the hard-core leftists who viewed the black proletariat as potential foot soldiers and a gullible constitu
Control / Censorship of internet is Leftist goalFrom The Pointman's blog:
'As the internet has matured, this creeping form of censorship has not only got progressively worse, but nearly all of the most popular social networking apps have become enforcers of a liberal bias in all things. As far as they are concerned, their services are only for the use of leftward leaning people, with anyone of a rightward leaning being censored to hell or their account suspended. A graphic illustration of this almost systemic bias was an experiment done by two journalists to test out how equitable Facebook’s so-called “moderation” actually was.
They set up two Facebook pages; one that was pro-Zionist and one which was anti-Zionist. They gradually posted more inflammatory but equivalent rhetoric at each site. When they stated making complaints to Facebook about both sites, the Zionist one was promptly closed down whereas the anti-Zionist one was allowed to continue, even after its content became progressively even more extreme.
Yes, energy IS more expensive via RenewablesFrom Energy Matters by Euan Mearns
Takeaway points for those who will run upon seeing my name:
Domestic (home) energy prices are cheapest where NUCLEAR gets a lot of use.
Domestic (home) prices ARE THE MOST EXPENSIVE WHERE RENEWABLES GET THE MOST USE
Gasoline prices are mostly taxes. So those of you who blame the oil companies for high prices don't know what you are talking about.
Energy Prices in Europe
A few days ago a link to a UK government report called Quarterly Energy Prices landed in my in box. At the end was a series of interesting charts comparing liquid fuel, natural gas and electricity prices across Europe. This post presents these charts alongside some simple but rather interesting observations.
Eco-nuts push to RELAX environmental protections!German Greens Move To Water Down Nature Protection Laws – To Clear Way For Wind Parks!
By P Gosselin on 18. January 2017
The German online Nordwest Zeitung (NWZ) reports here how mainly German Socialists and Greens (of all people) are moving to relax strict laws designed to protect nature and endangered species.
The aim is to clear the way to industrialize the North German rural countryside and natural areas with wind turbines.
Pushed by Germany’s Greens and Socialists, the country’s nature protection
4 Aprile NO MUOS
Sabato 4 Aprile 2015, dalle 14.30 a Niscemi (CT)
